“Summer lovin’ had me a blast. Summer lovin’ happened so fast.”
It was the summer of love, 2016. And I had lots of images to prove it, from the beaches and parks of New York City to the boardwalks of Rio de Janeiro.
Love, love, love. People loving each other, people loving the sun, people loving themselves. A stark contrast from the U.S. Presidential election and its red-hot, angry rhetoric, people around the world were definitely in the mood for love.
My Summer Lovin’ series features portraits of the people I saw expressing one of mankind’s simplest human pleasures - love. Love of self. Love of one another. Love of life.
